Innovation and digital: the Festival labeled

More than 2,300 music festivals annually animate French artistic and cultural life: building on this vitality, France Festivals wanted to encourage innovative projects based on digital tools via the Fest’Up program.
The Besançon Music Festival is one of the three festivals selected for its sound and visual installation Symphonic Immersion which invites the public to play with a symphonic work by becoming the “leader” of an interactive virtual orchestra.

The projects benefit from a crowdfunding scheme reinforced by the financial support of the EDF Group Foundation.
